 1c, 2c, 5c - Composition: Copper Plated Steel. Obverse: Altar at the prehistoric temple of Mnajdra, 'Malta' and '2008' below, within a circle of 12 stars  

 10c, 20c, 50c - Composition: Nordic Gold (Cu Al Zn Sn). Obverse: Malta coat of arms flanked by 'Malta 2013' within a circle of 12 stars   

 €1 - Composition: Outer: Nickel-brass. Inner: CuNi clad Ni. Obverse: The eight-pointed Maltese cross, with Malta 2011' within each of the 8 points and a circle of 12 stars
